HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR PAYOUTS TO BE COMPLETED?
Stripe’s documentation says the minimum wait period for first time connected accounts is 7 days. The verification process may take longer than 7 days on their end. This is common for new accounts, especially cross-border accounts. You can review their first time payout terms here.
All campaigns after your first one will take 72 hours or less. If your campaign is created and completed at the end of the week, payments will not process until about Tuesday the following week due to Stripe's system being operated like a bank. Transactions aren't process over non-business days.
Campaigns with a set end date are marked as complete once said end date passes.
For example:
A campaign is set to go live at 12:00 p.m. on 3/1/2021 with a 14 day duration. The end date is set for 3/15/2021. On 3/15 at 12:00 p.m., the campaign is moved from active to completed. Payouts will be processed 7 days after 3/15 for your first campaign and within 72 hours after 3/15 for each campaign to follow.
This system is set up to ensure the collaboration between artists and influencers are fulfilled to satisfaction.
Indefinite campaigns are automatically moved from active to completed.
